Default The Fantastic Mr. Fox

I think the problem with this film was the limited release and a general lack of interest. But despite that, it's a pretty good anmated film. Haven't seen any of these real animation films in some time thanks to CGI.

Basic plot (trying to avoid spoilers): Mr. Fox buys a house, gets in trouble with three mean people farmers, and then faces the wrath of man.

I thought it was amusing but it's probably a hit or miss on this one.

I don't believe it was even in my town, but probably ran in Los Angeles, major cities, and independent theaters.

There is a cam-version of it out (don't see what's so bad with downloading). I'm buying the Blu-Ray so I think that'll justify my little pirated sneak peak.

I know what you are saying but it's not wise to say things like this in public(about the download stuff)

Too paranoid man. The MPAA does not have time to deal with me or the other billion plus people downloading.

Emily_G: They shot it frame by frame. It's not as fluid as CGI, but it reminds me of Robot Chicken, Gumby, and those old pre-CGI shows and movies.

I'm the demographic they don't have to worry about. The other group that actually finds and uploads the stuff should be their biggest concern. I just stumbled upon a file and was curious.

The Fantastic Mr Fox is AWESOME. So, so, so good. I love all the descriptions of food, it used to make me so hungry.

Not sure about a movie version, but this thread has made me wanna read the book again. So many delicious chickens...
